adulting with ash
creating relevant conversation for young adultsAhhh, young adulthood.
An amazing time of life marked by opportunity and new experiences. It also consists of decisions about jobs, relationships, and core beliefs that could change the course of our lives. Many of us ask the following questions. How do I find a career I love when I’m going to school, working full time, and barely having time to sleep?
Is there such thing as THE ONE I’m supposed to spend the rest of my life with? If so where are they???
Why do I feel so anxious, have doubts about my faith, or struggle with my identity?
Often, we keep these questions or struggles to ourselves. Yet if we engaged in conversation with our peers or those who were once young adults, we’d realize that we are not alone.

I’m a 5-foot-something, sometimes-very-loud, coffee-loving college student who is navigating this “adulting” thing just like you.

Let’s Get Real
"If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all". We’ve probably all heard this trite phrase at some point in our lives. Mom has directed it to us with one eyebrow raised, a hand on her hip, and wisdom in her eyes. She reminded us that we should keep our...
I've Been Thinking About New Year's Resolutions All Wrong
How many of you made a New Year's resolution to not eat sweets and you're munching on a doughnut as you're reading this? Hey, no judgement here. I relate. It’s at about this time in January that many of us are realizing how difficult our resolutions are to maintain....
